What is Teniposide

Teniposide is a cytotoxic drug that is a topoisomerase II inhibitor.

It is indicated in combination with other chemotherapy for induction therapy in patients with refractory acute lymphocytic leukemia.

Severe myelosuppression and hypersensitivity reactions have occurred with teniposide therapy

Indications

  • acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL)

  • non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL)
  • non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
  • small cell lung cancer (SCLC)

For the treatment of previously untreated advanced neuroblastoma†, in combination with cisplatin or cisplatin, cyclophosphamide, and doxorubicin
