Chlophedianol Dexbrompheniramine

Chlophedianol Dexbrompheniramine Brand Name– Chlo Hist

What is Chlophedianol Dexbrompheniramine

Chlophedianol dexbrompheniramine is a combination of a cough suppressant and sedating antihistamine used to help relieve cough and symptoms of the common cold or allergic rhinitis.

Chlophedianol is a centrally-acting non-opioid antitussive used to relieve dry, irritating coughs. In some countries, chlophedianol is known as clophedanol.

Dexbrompheniramine is a sedating antihistamine (H1-blocker) of the alkylamine class that dries the nasal and sinus passages secondary to its anticholinergic activity, and treats histamine-mediated symptoms such as rhinorrhea and sneezing.

Products are labeled for use in adult and pediatric patients 6 years and older.
