Electrodiagnostic findings of demyelinating neuropathy
What are the electrodiagnostic findings that suggest a demyelinating neuropathy?
Findings on nerve conduction studies consistent with a demyelinating neuropathy are prolonged F-wave latency or absent F waves, slowed conduction velocity, prolonged distal latency, and, particularly in acquired demyelinating neuropathies, presence of conduction block and/or temporal dispersion.
