What is Hydrocortisone Urea

Hydrocortisone and urea are used together in a topical preparation to treat corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.

Hydrocortisone is a topical corticosteroid used for its antiinflammatory, vasoconstrictive, and antipruritic properties; urea has a mild keralytic effect and hydrates dry skin.

Indications

  1. atopic dermatitis
  2. pruritus
  3. psoriasis
  4. skin inflammation
  5. xerosis

For the temporary relief of skin inflammation and pruritus associated with corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses (e.g., atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, xerosis)
