What is Clioquinol Hydrocortisone
Clioquinol and hydrocortisone are used together in a topical preparation to treat tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and other skin infections. Clioquinol (iodochlorhydroxyquin) is a halogenated 8-hydroxyquinoline-derivative antibacterial and antifungal agent.
Hydrocortisone is a topical corticosteroid used for its antiinflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties properties.
