Copanlisib Brand Name– Aliqopa

What is Copanlisib

Copanlisib is a phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K) inhibitor approved for the treatment of adults with relapsed follicular lymphoma who have received at least 2 prior systemic treatments.

It was granted an accelerated approval for use in these patients. Severe hyperglycemia and hypertension have been reported.

Indications

  • non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL)

For the treatment of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL)

for the treatment of relapsed follicular lymphoma in patients who have received at least 2 prior systemic therapies

NOTE: Copanlisib has been designated an orphan drug by the FDA for the treatment of follicular lymphoma.
