What is vestibular neuronitis?
Vestibular neuronitis is a condition affecting primarily young adults causing a sudden attack of vertigo without tinnitus or hearing loss.
This benign disorder usually resolves within several days.
The etiology is presumed to be a viral infection or inflammation of the vestibular nerve.
