What is an enteric duplication cyst?
An enteric duplication cyst is a rare congenital abnormality of the GI tract that contains all the layers of bowel. On cross-sectional imaging, it typically appears as a solitary round or elongated unilocular cystic lesion with a thick enhancing wall that is located adjacent to a loop of bowel, most commonly the duodenum or distal ileum.
