What are the cardinal symptoms of neuromuscular lesions?
Weakness, alteration in sensation, and/or pain are the most common symptoms reported by patients. Weakness should be differentiated from fatigue and malaise. Fatigue differs from weakness in that fatigue is a loss of strength with activity that recovers with rest. Malaise is a subjective feeling of weakness without objective findings.
