What is Selegiline

Selegiline is classified as a selective monoamine oxidase (MAO) type-B inhibitor.

Selegiline is available orally for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease as an adjunct to levodopa/carbidopa, and transdermally for the treatment of major depressive disorder.
