What is Iobenguane I 131

Iobenguane I 131 is a radioactive therapeutic agent indicated for the treatment of iobenguane scan-positive unresectable, locally advanced, or metastatic pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma in patients aged 12 years and older who require systemic anticancer therapy.

Myelosuppression and renal toxicity have been reported; monitoring of complete blood counts and renal function is recommended.
