Classically, the temporal lobe epilepsy personality was described as humorless, hyposexual, overly concerned with religious questions, “sticky” in interpersonal relationships, and hypergraphic.
This classic description has not reliably held up and is only occasionally found in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy.
