Do other diseases have oligoclonal bands?
Yes, especially inflammatory and infectious conditions such as syphilis, meningoencephalitis, subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (a latent measles infection), and Guillain–Barré syndrome.
However, these are unlikely to be confused with MS.
