Watershed regions of the colon

What are the watershed regions of the colon?

The splenic flexure, which is at the junction of the superior and inferior mesenteric artery distributions, and the rectosigmoid colon, which is at the junction of the inferior mesenteric and sigmoid artery distributions. These areas are susceptible to hypoperfusion due to their location at the junctions of two vascular distributions.
