How is risk of tumor recurrence (average risk versus high risk) defined in medulloblastoma?
Average-risk disease is defined as total or near-total resection and no evidence of disseminated disease by brain and spine MRI and CSF analysis.
High-risk disease is defined as the presence of residual tumor ≥1.5 cm 2 following resection and/or evidence of disseminated or metastatic disease.
