What are some risk factors for adrenal hemorrhage/hematoma?
- • Abdominal trauma (the most common risk factor); adrenal injuries are usually associated with other severe organ injury.
- • Physiologic stress (such as from surgery, sepsis, burn injury, or hypotension).
- • Coagulopathy or other hemorrhagic diathesis.
- • Adrenal gland neoplasm.
