What are the major branches of the celiac artery
The celiac artery gives rise to the splenic, left gastric, and common hepatic arteries (CHA). The CHA gives rise to the right gastric, proper hepatic, and gastroduodenal arteries (GDA). The GDA gives rise to the right gastroepiploic, anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal, and posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal arteries. The splenic artery gives rise to the short gastric, dorsal pancreatic, great pancreatic (arteria pancreatica magna), and left gastroepiploic arteries. The transverse pancreatic artery arises from the dorsal pancreatic artery. The proper hepatic artery gives rise to cystic, right hepatic, and left hepatic arteries.
