Is a hysterosalpingogram useful for evaluation of the endometrium in a postmenopausal woman with vaginal bleeding?

Endometrial abnormalities, such as endometrial hyperplasia or endometrial cancer, can cause perimenopausal/postmenopausal bleeding and are best evaluated by transvaginal US or pelvic MRI. HSG has no role in this clinical situation.
