Importance of a right sided aortic arch

What is the importance of a right sided aortic arch?

A right-sided arch may be associated with mirror-image branching, an aberrant left subclavian artery, or an isolated left subclavian artery. It may also be associated with tetralogy of Fallot or truncus arteriosus. If you see a right-sided aortic arch, look for other anomalies and consider recommending echocardiography.
