CT and MRI features of a hepatic cyst

What are the CT and MR imaging features of a hepatic cyst?

A hepatic cyst is round or oval in shape and composed of simple fluid. Therefore, on CT, it will have fluid attenuation, and on MRI, it will have low signal intensity on T1-weighted images, very high signal intensity on T2-weighted images, and very high signal intensity on heavily T2-weighted images relative to liver parenchyma. It either has no enhancement or has minimal thin rim enhancement
