Alphavirus infections
Alphaviruses are a genus of ssRNA viruses that are primarily transmitted by mosquitoes. The seven alphaviruses which may have musculoskeletal manifestations are listed in the below table. Treatment is generally supportive and consists of analgesics and rest.
