Is rituximab indicated in acquired TTP?

Yes. Rituximab is an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody.

Its use in TTP is mainly indicated in adult TTP patients who are refractory to plasmapheresis and corticosteroids and in patients who have a relapsing course.
