Can Erythropoiesis stimulating agents be used during pregnancy?
Erythropoiesis stimulating agents are continued in dialysis patients during pregnancy and the dose has to be increased to achieve the same hemoglobin level. They can be started in non-dialysis patients if the hemoglobin drops to 8 g/dL.
