STACLOT LA test
The STACLOT LA is a two-part aPTT assay. The plasma being tested is incubated with and without phospholipid, and then, an aPTT test is performed on the two samples. If the difference between the two aPTT tests are >8 seconds, then an LA is present. Note that an elevated C-reactive protein can cause a false-positive STACLOT-LA test.
