Skeletal manifestations of acromegaly

What are the skeletal manifestations of acromegaly?

Acromegaly has various radiographic features including calvarial thickening, enlarged paranasal sinuses, an enlarged sella turcica, and a prognathic jaw. The tufts of the distal phalanges of the hands become hypertrophied and resemble a spade. Thickening of the soft tissue adjacent to the calcaneus is another common feature.
