How commonly is headache the presenting complaint in patients with metastatic brain tumors?
Headache is a common feature of metastatic brain tumor. The development of a new headache or change in the quality of headache in patients with a systemic malignancy is an ominous sign for intracranial metastasis. About 32% to 54% patients with systemic cancer who present with new or changed headache have an intracranial metastasis which is a common symptom in these patients
