How common are paraneoplastic syndromes?
Myasthenia gravis is seen in 15% of thymoma patients and Lambert–Eaton myasthenic syndrome in 3% of patients with small-cell lung cancer.
However, for other solid tumors the incidence of paraneoplastic syndromes is far less than 1%.
