Yes. Patients with an MCP mutation have the best outcome, with low rates of aHUS recurrence (<20%) and long-term graft survival similar to patients who underwent transplantation for other etiologies.
Patients with CFH and CFI mutations have the worse outcome with transplantation; 70% to 90% have a recurrence.
