Cherry juice reduces gout

  • • Cherry juice: has phenolic compounds (anthocyanins) that are antiinflammatory and inhibit cyclooxygenase and nitric oxide production. In addition, it increases uric acid excretion by inhibiting proximal tubular reabsorption of uric acid.
