What are the Cardinal features of Chronic Immune Related Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP)?
- Progression over longer than 8 weeks or a relapsing course
- Symmetric proximal and distal weakness in all extremities (legs more than arms)
- Sensory impairment
- Hyporeflexia or areflexia in all extremities
- Elevated cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) protein without pleocytosis (cytoalbuminologic dissociation)
- Electrodiagnostic evidence of demyelinating neuropathy
- Pathologic evidence of demyelinating neuropathy on sural nerve biopsy
