Atrial flutter with variable atrioventricular conduction
- Causes increased heart rate, palpitations, and irregular rhythm
- Flutter rate is approximately 300 beats per minute; 2:1 atrioventricular conduction, which results in a ventricular rate of 150 beats per minute
- ECG results show saw-toothed pattern of F waves, especially in leads II, III, aVF, or V₁
- Presence of regular P-P interval
- Differentiated from multifocal atrial tachycardia by ECG findings
