Anatomy of a peripheral nerve

What is the anatomy of a peripheral nerve?

The outer layer of a peripheral nerve is called the epineurium.

Each nerve is made up of a bundle of nerve fibers called fascicles and each fascicle is surrounded by a perineurium.

Each fascicle is made up of a number of axons and each axon is sheathed in the endoneurium.
