What is Fluorouracil 5 FU Diclofenac
Fluorouracil 5 FU Diclofenac is a topical preparation containing the fluorinated pyrimidine 5-fluorouracil, an antineiplastic antimetabolite and diclofenac sodium, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory.
Fluorouracil (5-FU) is a fluorinated pyrimidine and acts as an antimetabolite antineoplastic agent. It differs from the naturally occurring product, uracil, by the addition of a fluoride at position 5.
Fluorouracil 5 FU Diclofenac was introduced January 2015.
Indications
- actinic keratosis
- basal cell carcinoma
For the treatment of actinic keratosis (multiple actinic or solar keratosis)
