What is Deoxycholic Acid
Deoxycholic acid is a cytolytic drug indicated for improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe convexity or fullness associated with submental fat in adults.
Safety and efficacy have not been established for use outside of the submental area or in adolescent patients.
Deoxycholic acid (Kybella) was approved by the FDA in April 2015.

Deoxycholic acid is contraindicated if signs of infection are presentat the injection sites.
