What is apraxia

What is apraxia?

Apraxia is the loss of the ability to perform a learned, familiar, purposeful motor act despite having the desire and the physical ability to perform the movements.

This occurs in the absence of a primary disturbance in attention, comprehension, motivation, coordination, or sensation that would preclude that act.
