Which neuropathologic entities overlap with Alzheimers Disease?
Besides normal aging, dementia with Lewy bodies, Parkinson’s dementia, progressive supranuclear palsy, and vascular dementias are sometimes difficult to distinguish from Alzheimers Disease because plaques and tangles may occur with other pathologic changes.
Clinical correlations are extremely important in such cases.
