Which disease is responsible for salt wasting?
Cerebral salt wasting has been described in metastatic central nervous system disease.
In hyponatremia from SIADH and salt wasting, urine sodium and urine osmolality are elevated; however, these patients are volume depleted on exam as opposed to SIADH where patients tend to be euvolemic.
