When an intervention is necessary for compartment syndrome causing rhabdomyolysis?
Compartment pressures greater than 30 mm Hg are usually associated with muscle ischemia and may require surgical intervention.
Fasciotomy should be performed emergently if intramuscular pressures are greater than 50 mm Hg or remain above 30 mm Hg for 6 hours.
