What other types of aortic procedures can be performed through an endovascular approach?
Newer endovascular aortic procedures include treatment of aortic coarctation using stents and placement of percutaneous aortic valves for patients with severe aortic stenosis who are not surgical candidates. Both of these procedures require appropriate iliac artery access vessels, similar to endovascular aneurysm repair.
