What are the risk factors for recurrence of Intracerebral hemorrhage?
- Lobar location of the initial ICH,
- older age,
- ongoing anticoagulation,
- presence of the apolipoprotein E e2 or e4 alleles,
- and greater number of microbleeds on MRI
The above are currently considered the main factors associated with ICH recurrence.
