What are the Most common symptoms of Chronic kidney disease?
Chronic kidney disease is often asymptomatic in the early stages. In the late stages of kidney failure, symptoms include:
• Fatigue
• Weakness
• Anorexia
• Nausea and vomiting
• Volume overload with pulmonary edema
• Pericarditis
• Peripheral neuropathy
• Central nervous system abnormalities (ranging from loss of concentration and lethargy to seizures, coma, and death), which can occur when kidney function is severely impaired
No direct correlation exists between the absolute serum levels of blood urea nitrogen or creatinine and the development of these symptoms.
