Limbic lobe is not a true lobe of the brain but rather a functional collection of structures that regulate higher activities such as memory and emotion.
It is commonly said to include (1) cingulate gyrus, (2) parahippocampal gyrus, (3) hippocampal gyrus, and (4) uncus.
