What is the juxtaphrenic peak sign?
The “juxtaphrenic peak” sign refers to a peaked or tented appearance of either hemidiaphragm, most often occurring in the setting of upper lobe atelectasis. It is the result of traction upon an inferior accessory fissure being pulled superiorly toward the atelectatic upper lobe.
