How is arthroscopy used in the management of knee Osteoarthritis?
Arthroscopic debridement of the knee is indicated in patients with mechanical symptoms (e.g., locking) resulting from an internal derangement, such as a meniscal tear. Arthroscopic debridement and lavage may provide several months of lessened pain in some patients with more advanced degenerative arthritic changes
