Heerfordt syndrome (uveoparotid fever) is a combination of fever, parotid enlargement, uveitis, arthritis, and facial nerve palsy. It occurs most commonly in males and usually has a poor prognosis. Moderate-dose corticosteroids and chronic immunosuppressive therapy are typically necessary to manage clinical manifestations.
