What is elevated Intra Cranial Pressure (ICP)?
The normal ICP ranges from 5 to 15 mm Hg (7.5 to 20 cm H 2 O) in an adult and 3 to 7 mm Hg (4 to 9.5 cm H 2 O) in children.
The threshold that defines intracranial hypertension is uncertain but generally is considered to be >20 cm H 2 O for >10 minutes.
