Does Churg Strauss syndrome cause neurologic damage

Does Churg Strauss syndrome cause neurologic damage?

Two-thirds of patients with allergic granulomatosis (Churg Strauss syndrome) have CNS manifestations similar to those seen in PAN, including encephalopathy, seizures, and coma, and mononeuritis multiplex in the majority of patients.

Hemorrhage is more common in this disorder than in PAN, but the clinical distinction between these two diseases rests on the almost invariable presence of pulmonary involvement with asthma in patients with Churg–Strauss syndrome, along with eosinophilia and elevated serum IgE levels.
