Conditions associated with Mixed cryoglobulinemia
HCV infection is the most common, followed by autoimmune/autoinflammatory diseases and lymphoproliferative processes. Only a small fraction of cases (<5%) are truly “essential” cryoglobulinemia (i.e., those with no definable underlying illness).
