The outer layer of a peripheral nerve is called the epineurium.
Each nerve is made up of a bundle of nerve fibers called fascicles and each fascicle is surrounded by a perineurium.
Each fascicle is made up of a number of axons and each axon is sheathed in the endoneurium.
