What is Factor 13 Concentrate
Factor 13 Concentrate is a heat-treated, lyophilized coagulation factor 13 concentrate made from pooled human plasma.
It is approved for the prevention of bleeding episodes in patients with congenital factor XIII deficiency.
Factor 13 Concentrate was approved by the FDA in February 2011.
Indications & Dosage
- factor 13 deficiency
For routine bleeding prophylaxis in patients with congenital factor 13 deficiency
NOTE: Factor 13 concentrate has not been proven to have a direct benefit on the treatment of bleeding episodes.
